New hires at MACP from Q3 and Q4 2025

In the second half of 2025, three new staff members joined Margaret A. Cargill Philanthropies (MACP). Their abilities and expertise will support MACP in achieving our mission, specifically on our Enterprise Risk Management, Finance, and Programs teams.

Please join us in welcoming them to MACP.

Amanda McMahon, Risk Analyst, Enterprise Risk Management. In this role, Amanda (she/her) helps assess travel risk, facilitates our annual insurance renewal processes, supports ongoing risk assessments, and coordinates business continuity and crisis management enhancements. Amanda had been a contractor in the Administrative Specialist role since May 2024. Prior to joining MACP, she worked at OptumRx and the Minneapolis Institute of Art (MIA). Amanda has a master’s degree in art history from the University of St. Thomas.

Molay Kamara, Payroll Specialist, Finance. In this role, Molay (he/him) supports the Finance function with a focus on payroll processing and compliance, payroll accounting and reporting, accounts payable transaction processing, and vendor management. Prior to MACP, he worked at Rooted Tax Group LLC and ArcelorMittal. Molay has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Cuttington University, and an MBA in finance from Cuttington University Graduate School & Professional Studies.

Marilyn Williams, Executive Assistant, Programs. In this role, Marilyn (she/her) supports the Vice President, Programs, coordinating events, optimizing schedules, orchestrating travel, and managing invoicing and expense reporting to ensure seamless operations and support the team’s success. Prior to MACP, she worked at U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Verizon Wireless, UnitedHealth Group, and Best Buy. Marilyn has a bachelor’s degree in science from Oregon State University, and a master’s certificate in business administration from the Opus College of Business at University of St. Thomas.
